Yahoo Mail IMAP Setup

Are you trying to setup you yahoo account manually? Below is the configuration taken from K9 Android Email Application.

Remember Yahoo using IMAP and not POP3!

 Check out the IMAP sever for incoming email and it's port number

IMAP server for outgoing email. Let the port by default. Set the Security Type to TLS!


You should be able to setup your Yahoo Mail manually on your android phone now.

  2. For username, i had to use full email address.. Took me a while to figure tthis whole thing out.

    Just use:http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?locale=en_US&page=content&y=PROD_MAIL_MOBILE&id=SLN4075&actp=lorax&pir=ysuByVdibUn5tZZAXmZ40Zz6IjqHWSacvKZp

    Even if your email ends in yahoo.ca, use yahoo.com in the settings
